The long bay in the area of the town of Gallipoli is a stretch of coast formed by low cliffs that alternate with soft beaches.
The Mediterranean scrub, wild and fragrant and the crystal-clear waters make this cove a very popular tourist destination in Salento.
On this coast there is Lido Punta della Suina, a beautiful beach equipped with sunbeds, beach umbrellas and beautiful secluded coves.
You can enjoy a splendid view of the entire bay from the terrace of the bar. You can also admire the city of Gallipoli, Sant'Andrea Island with its lighthouse and the wonderful Torre del Pizzo.
Then comes the sunset, the most beautiful and fascinating moment of the day on this part of the coast, to be admired in all its spectacular poetry to the last ray of light.
On the long inlet of Baia di Gallipoli there are also wonderful stretches of public beach, which can be easily reached from Punta della Suina or the pine forest.

If you love rocky beaches and enjoy fishing, we recommend the coastal area near the magnificent Torre del Pizzo.
